Gloss screen printing ink suitable for pre-treated polyethylene and polypropylene

• High opacity and gloss
• High flexibility
• Fast drying: suitable for high speed printing with automatic machines
• It is possible to print paper, board, road sign when a high gloss finish is required
• Formulated without lead and heavy metals pigments (Toys).

 PRINTING:

before printing, ink should be stirred and thinned depending on printing conditions. Print off-contact with sharpened Vulkollan squeegee (70 – 80 shores). Substrates have to be pre-treated with flame or corona treatment; if not possible prepare the surface with Poligrip (see technical data sheet).

DRYING:

ink dries by solvent evaporation. tack – free at room temperature in 15-20’. In jet dryers (60-70°C) time are reduced to 10-20”.

COVERAGE:

25/30 m2/kg depending on the printed colour using 100.34.

CLEANING:

use Solvent LQ 90.920.

STENCIL:

solvent resistant Emulsion ZERO-IN DUAL SV.

THINNERS:

Medium     90.922.
Slow         90.911NF
Retarder    90.998 (up to 5%)

ANCILARY PRODUCTS:

Clear Base 401501:

to prepare metallic inks, to reduce colour strength in pigmented inks,as overprint varnish.

STANDARD COLOURS:

available in 11 gloss colours and four colour process.

PACKAGING:

the product is available in 1 kg cans.White, black and transparent base also in 5 kg.

STORAGE:

in original sealed container the ink has at least 12 months shelf life.
